Soil2Root Technologies is a registered and independent soil science agribusiness that provides professional advice to pome and stone fruit growers in the Western Cape and Free State.

Soil2Root Technologies is situated in Somerset West and is under the directorship of Mr Nelius Kapp, an established Soil Scientist; Fruit Tree Nutritionist; and founder of Soil2Root Technologies Soil Science Consultancy.  Our consultancy incorporates technology to assist producers with the areas of farm development and fruit tree nutrition. We focus on offering specialized advice on the utilization of soils for fruit tree production and orchard nutrition requirements, taking climatic conditions, crop and soil type into consideration.

We use soil classification and mapping as the basis for our recommendations related to soil utilization, orchard layout design and amelioration. We also offer orchard-specific nutrition programs which include fertilizer, foliar and lime programs.
